Marshalls has been reaccredited with the Fair Tax Mark for the 12th consecutive year, maintaining recognition it has held continuously since 2015. Awarded by the Fair Tax Foundation, the mark recognises businesses that pay the right amount of corporation tax, in the right place, at the right time, and who demonstrate a transparent, responsible approach to tax.

For Marshalls, the reaccreditation signals an embedded corporate culture where fair tax conduct is aligned with its Transform & Grow strategy and treated as a core element of long-term stakeholder value creation. The Fair Tax Mark requires an annual accreditation process that examines tax practices and policy commitments.

Mark Williams, Director of Group Finance at Marshalls, commented on the achievement: "We're pleased to have been reaccredited with the Fair Tax Mark again this year. Responsible tax conduct is a core part of how we do business, and the annual accreditation process gives us the opportunity to reflect on our approach and identify where we can keep improving. It's a rigorous process and that makes the accreditation even more meaningful. It helps us show stakeholders – from Marshalls' employees and customers to investors – that we're serious about transparency and good governance."

The reaccreditation follows Fair Tax Week, which took place from 8–15 June. This UK-wide initiative celebrates organisations that publicly commit to paying their fair share of tax and highlights the role tax revenue plays in funding public services and supporting communities.

Jaime Boswell, Head of Accreditation at the Fair Tax Foundation, said: "Fair tax is built into Marshalls' approach to sustainability, so it's no surprise (but huge kudos to them) that this is their 12th consecutive year accredited with the Fair Tax Mark. Their public tax policy contains strong commitments to following the spirit of tax laws and we're delighted to have them in the fair tax community for another year."

For Marshalls, fair tax plays a key role in how the company operates transparently and creates long-term value for stakeholders as it builds a stronger, more sustainable business.
