UZIN UTZ from Ulm is participating in the Munich construction company Gropyus, which develops serially manufactured modular buildings. Gropyus relies on digitalized planning and manufacturing processes with prefabricated room modules in timber and hybrid construction methods. For the manufacturer specialized in floor systems, the investment could mean access to industrialized construction methods and new business fields in the area of prefabricated components. The size of the stake was not disclosed.
