The thermal insulation technology specialist Schöck has undergone a change in leadership. Alfons Hörmann, former president of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, has taken sole responsibility in the family-owned company based in Baden-Baden. Schöck specializes in components for minimizing thermal bridges, including the well-known Isokorb elements for cantilevered building parts. Details on the strategic direction under Hörmann's leadership have not yet been communicated.
