Schöck has introduced the Sconnex Type P, a load-bearing thermal insulation element for use in cantilevered building components. The product aims to reduce thermal bridges at critical connection points that significantly influence the U-value of the building envelope. Specific performance data on lambda values or EPD certification are not yet available. The market launch occurs at a time when the tightening of the GEG from 2025 onwards imposes higher requirements on the building envelope.
