Wood-based materials manufacturer Kronospan is expanding its logistics capacity at its Saxon location in Lampertswalde by expanding Mühlbacher Straße for a new loading center. The infrastructure measure indicates a planned expansion of production capacity for chipboard, OSB or MDF boards, which are relevant for load-bearing and non-load-bearing applications in timber construction. For planners and building materials dealers, this could improve the availability of wood-based materials in the region in the medium term and shorten delivery times. The Austrian group operates several locations in Germany for the production of plate-shaped wood-based materials in accordance with EN 312, EN 300 and EN 622.
