3U Holding AG has received the DGNB Gold certificate for its new headquarters in Marburg. The rating system of the German Sustainable Building Council examines over 40 criteria in six subject areas – from the environmental impact of building materials to energy efficiency and deconstruction capability. Gold means a fulfillment rate of at least 65 percent. Publicly listed companies increasingly use such certificates to document their ESG performance to investors.
